This is the complete bike produced directly from HRC, never used and preserved into the original crate for almost 25 years as delivered from Japan on year 2001.-----Frame marked JH2SC45R... (where the letter R means “RACING” destined only for the real HRC bikes produced). Engine/ Frame "Matching numbers". This bike is one of the only few dozen units produced and sold directly by Honda Racing Corporation destined to the racing teams of the era. The price tag of the era was fixed from HRC on 110. 000 USD - FOB (Free On Board), that means excluding shipping, VAT and import local taxes on the final destination (so, final price on the hands of European owner was about 145. 000 Euro calculated with the currency of the era). Price was very similar of NSR500V also sold from HRC before VTR era coming.-----All parts originally supplied (as complementary parts delivered with the bike) are still present inside their HRC carton boxes (external PGM-FI ECU programming control unit; 10mm thick seat; side stand; etc.).-----Bike version ’01, the only one with large width gauge swingarm section and dedicated rear wheel hub “quickly release” as HRC factory racing bike (previous and further versions were no equipped with them).-----Including with a deal, they are also a big box plenty of new HRC spare parts (approximately 10. 000 Euro of materials), most of no longer available on the market and really unobtainable because they are specific for this bike and not shared with others HRC vehicles.-----Bike is in a private collection, ready to be preserved by new collector or to use it for historic race or parade.
