1200 cc, 90 BHP and 85 FT-LBS of Torque as standard, for smile-inducing performance. Buell called it the "Torque Monster" in its time, as it has lots of torque from very low down in the rev range, and overtaking can be achieved simply by opening the throttle in any gear. Brilliant chassis gives outstanding handling. Great original paintwork in Blue Streak. I am the first and only owner from new in May 2000. Always kept inside. Never needed any work apart from oil and filter change and new tyres. Scorpion silencer fitted soon after I bought it, as the factory item weighed twice as much and looked awful. Ditto with the Air box. The stock "Mail Box" that was factory fitted looked like- well, an American Mailbox. Very restrictive as well. Pirelli Angel tyres fitted last year and replacement AGM Battery. Sportster performance Transmission oil 400 miles ago.
Only selling as it is time for a new owner who will take it out and ride it more than I do. Try to find another with this history and low miles. Ready to go and have fun.
Buells are special bikes; they won't suit everyone. The Buell engine was based on the Harley Sportster, and so despite rubber mounting of the engine, they do come with quite a bit of vibration as standard! This goes away at higher speeds. Just be aware before you consider one.
£3500 ono. Will come with Rider handbook and Factory workshop Manual in excellent condition. In my ownership from NEW in 2000. Supplied by D&K Motorcycles at Stoke-on-Trent. Always garaged and used sparingly over the years. Full history documentation since new. V5 in my name, of course.

I bought this bike on looks and road test reputations. Fitted with a Harley Sportster air cleaner housing, with a K&N freeflow filter, and a Scorpion silencer, it has a few more HP than standard.
