I have loved owning my EK Civic but more imminent projects await so I am unfortunately parting ways with it in the hopes it will go to another loving home.
Originally purchased from John Hall & Son in 1998, it stayed with the original elderly owner until 2017, when it then was given to her daughter in London . It then stayed in Wimbledon until earlier this year when I bought it. All of this is documented in the extensive history folder including the original bill of sale.
Being a basic D14 1. 4i, many were considered disposable. However this example finished in Vogue Silver Metallic has survived miraculously. You will struggle to find a tidier EK, as well as one boasting a low mileage of just 23, 584 miles.
It was a nice car when I bought it, however I have since done a few cosmetic improvements to bring the car back to a nearly-new standard. The wheel trims are showing a few light scratches and curb marks however I decided to leave them original while refurbishing the steel wheels behind. It would be ideal as a retro daily driver, car shows or even just a great investment to preserve.
This Civic drives as excellently as you’d expect, the 1. 4L D14 engine is nippy and incredibly reliable. The gearbox is slick and precise and makes for a very fun drive. Plus with a recent timing belt and clutch less than 4, 000 miles ago, it doesn’t require any work to my knowledge.
All the common corrosion areas are totally rust-free, with an immaculate boot floor and wheel arches in beautiful condition, still retaining their original rubber protecting lips.
Interior wise, it's a similar story and aligns with the ultra low mileage. There is virtually no wear on any of the components and the seats, plastics and rubbers still feel fresh. The car appears smoke and pet free.
It passed an MOT in May 2026 with no advisories and now is ready to be used and enjoyed after being fully detailed inside and out by myself. The civic can be driven away at the time of sale.
The spare wheel, tool kit and jack are all present and unused, still retaining their original zinc coating.
It still retains many original features such as the John Hall & Son Honda dealer sticker and tax disc holder Pioneer cassette player, 2 original Honda keys and a red master key (still sealed in the packet) A full Honda book pack along with a large paperwork file including service history and the original bill of sale as well as every tax disc and MOT certificate. All the paperwork confirms the mileage to be genuine, and coincides with the condition of the car.
This is a rare opportunity to own one of the lowest mileage and nicest condition Civic EKs in the UK.
