for sale is my 2010 Jaguar XFR. this car had one long term owner from new until 2026, and has had lots of the common AJ133 foibles taken care of.
some highlights:
- 98k miles, MOT until June 2027
- timing chain & tensioners replaced with facelift chain and components
- full service history, last oil & filter service at 97k miles
- coolant bottle replaced at 94k
- Modstock backboxes
- wireless Apple CarPlay/ Android Auto
- stock engine, pulley & map: this car has never been mapped
- factory forward alert, radar cruise, reversing cam & rear blind
- genuine ZF6 kit, new air filters and differential oil can come with the car for the asking price
some negatives:
- unfortunately, the first owner lost all of its paperwork. apart from the service stamps, it has little paperwork with it. however, the chain is the facelift part, there are pen marks on the supercharger to indicate that it's previously been off, the car doesn't use any oil or coolant and the engine doesn't rattle on start up or when turned off. i have videos from cold start to prove this. i'm confident the chain, tensioners, supercharger coupling, water pump and crossover pipes have been done, i just haven't got the receipts to back it up
- front wheels are buckled and have been repaired before, so there is slight wheel wobble around 50 mph. it goes once the car gets up to 60 mph and over
- rear passenger door is sometimes temperamental and doesn't unlock from the outside, but it opens from the inside just fine
i've loved my time with the XFR, it's never put a foot wrong and i will be immensely sad to see it go. however, i've got a new job that requires long distance commuting, so i'm looking for something cheaper and more economical.
