Description
A car for a purist!
Family car: grandfather, father and me.
Bought for private use and put to rest in the garage.
Driven in the mountains, it was attacked by salt and damp: front floor pan to be replaced, plus 2 jack mounting brackets and 2 cross members.
The upholstery on some of the seats needs attention;
It is a roadworthy car with a new battery, new tyres and new brakes. The lights work, as does the dashboard.
Linear-style instrument panel and several 1980s-era stickers.
It is a family heirloom that was stored away by my father in 199 when the MOT test was introduced. He grew fond of smaller cars as he got older. I have never driven it.
It still has its original colour, carpets and chrome;
It offers a pleasant, quick drive in its original condition.
ALL IN ALL IT IS A RARE MODEL THANKS TO ITS HISTORY AND ITS STATUS, SITTING BETWEEN A BASE MODEL AND A LUXURY MODEL.
