Exceptional 1979 Mercedes 450SL in its rare European version. The car has only 75422km, it is in a rather impressive original condition, neither restored nor repainted. In my possession since 2013, very little used and always stored in a dry, healthy and temperate place. The bodywork is impeccable, the alignments are exact, the original paint has kept its shine, there are no dents or deep scratches. The car is completely corrosion-free. The car has been regularly serviced to maintain its superb condition. The following work has recently been carried out: - replacement of the soft top and seals - replacement of the exhaust system - replacement of the windscreen washer pump - replacement of the 4 tyres - replacement of the electric aerial - replacement of the fuel pump and filter - oil change and engine oil filter - change of the automatic gearbox - the original car radio has been replaced by a vintage-style Bluetooth model.
The 4. 5-litre V8 starts from a standing start, and the 224 bhp uncatalysed engine has a throaty sound. The French registration document is NORMAL, not a collector's item, which is very rare.
