Descrição
Following a withdrawal, I am putting up for sale this WWII Italian artillery tractor of the make BREDA TP32, dieselised at the time for Africa with a LANCIA R03 5-cylinder engine.
At the time it was known as the COLONIALE, and its post-war colours (yellow and grey) can still be seen, along with the Italian khaki green, and on the left-hand engine bonnet, some remains of the Italian military inscription REGIMENTE D'ARTIGLIA. It turns, with its rear winch, and was used to pull trailers or 15-tonne guns. This model was part of the Italian expeditionary force in Libya.
A total of 1, 378 of all models were built, and very few of them are still in working order. Many were stolen by the German army in 1943, when Italy laid down its arms. This one broke down in the Rhône valley, and continued its career as a wagon pusher in a flour mill.
I've included a few photos of rare restored specimens, in green. Mine is yellow. Don't hesitate to contact me for further information, I'm open to any honest proposal. Best regards
