Equipped with period 13x9 Indianapolis wheels (restored) and an ATI Indianapolis tulip steering wheel (new leather with a red marker) paired with the Scheelmann seat (in perfect original condition) for the driver and short springs (new Alpina specification) and its tricolour graphics, this vintage beast is only waiting for you to explore picturesque winding roads at the wheel.
The vehicle was subjected to its first restoration about ten years ago and presented a fairly sound and complete base before the work undertaken by the CCM workshop.
Nevertheless the list of works is exhaustive:
The running gear was removed and fully rebuilt, the engine overhaul was carried out, a new exhaust line was installed, new wheels with fresh Dunlop Sport Vintage tyres were fitted.
The interior has received new midnight-blue carpet. The Scheel sport seat complements the upholstery which had already been restored previously (the original driver’s seat is present and is also in excellent condition) as well as a restored centre console and other interior parts, new, have been installed.
Externally, new bumpers have been fitted with new Bosch fog lights with their period covers. Since the photos, the missing roof rail has been installed, as well as the correct driver-side mirror.
In short, a vehicle as atypical as it is authentic that will win you over with the charm of the classic era of small, lightweight, lively cars that deliver those unique, unfiltered sensations.
