Very major servicing: timing belt, batteries, alternator, four tyres, all hydraulic spheres, solenoid, gearbox mounting plate, all filters, all oil changes; front and rear brakes, discs and pads. All of these components have been replaced with new parts, supported by invoices to restore the car’s reliability. I have also carried out a steering alignment to position the steering wheel straight, as all CXs should be, because a misaligned steering wheel was not acceptable at Citroën at the time. I have been a Citroën mechanic for 45 years; I know all Citroën hydraulic systems and am capable of doing anything on hydraulic Citroëns.
