Body / colour / engine / gearbox.
A Renault authenticity certificate accompanies the vehicle, along with a copy of its 1967 factory build label.
- Oval and diamond plates in the front trunk (fixing lugs intact)
- Cold stamp on the chassis with the diamond emblem
- Engine number plate with original rivet
- Sticker on the gearbox with numbers
This R8 Gordini has undergone a complete restoration spanning many years!
Everything has been overhauled, the vehicle in remarkable condition and fully original (except the gear knob)
Engine fully rebuilt:
Block: pistons / sleeves and seals / rings / bearings / complete timing kit / water pump / clutch NEW
Cylinder head: checked / tested / valve seats (converted to unleaded) / valves NEW
For the rest, almost everything is new: brakes / running gear / interior / rubber bushings / etc.
All the elements specific to a genuine R8 Gordini are present:
- Body reinforcements
- Hood indentation for the brake fluid reservoir
- Jack support on the left rear wing
- Indentation for air box on the right rear wing
- Boss for the 5-speed box
- 4-screw handle with welded backing plate
