Very nice configuration with a front spoiler, tank, long-range headlights, roll bars, Delta-Mic wheels from an R8 Gordini, 4-speed gearbox, four disc brakes and a 4-into-1 exhaust.
The previous owner had refreshed the running gear and replaced the steering rack.
I have just replaced the master cylinder, carried out the service and got it through the MOT.
The R5 Alpine engine was installed without modifications, with the possibility of easily returning to the original engine.
Very nice sound without being too loud; the Alpine engine gives this R8 good acceleration and good responsiveness.
