Description
For sale: a left-hand-drive Ford Cortina MK1 1500GT, a rare 1966 model. Delivered new in Spain, it was imported to England in the 1970s. The Cortina long ran in its original condition before undergoing a full restoration. From conception to completion, the restoration took around four years and was carried out entirely in our workshops. The result is impressive and we can state without hesitation that this is a superbly restored specimen. The Cortina is equipped with an original Webasto sunroof, giving it the look of a cabriolet, particularly welcome in summer. Technically and aesthetically, everything has been restored, serviced or replaced with care. Ford original parts were used throughout the vehicle, from the engine to the brakes and the electrical system. Restoring these Fords today is a real money pit, in terms of both labour and costs. The example on offer here therefore saves a lot of time, money and stress, and its next owner can immediately enjoy this GT! This Cortina is sold with photos, documentation, previous MOT certificates, delivery booklet, etc. The 1500GT sits on its original wide steel wheels and, apart from a servo-installed during restoration, is entirely original. For true Ford Cortina MK1 enthusiasts, this is a unique opportunity to acquire a left-hand-drive 1500GT, a truly rare model. A complete photo feature of this exceptional GT can be requested by email, demonstrating its quality. Asking price €27, 500. Part-exchange possible for another classic car.
