Going, Going, Gone! – A Car & Classic Vodcast!

We’ve got a new vodcast on the go! Not sure what a vodcast is? No, neither were we until after we’d filmed the first episode, but a vodcast, or video-cast, is what we’ve made. A podcast, with moving images, in a nutshell. And while we’re only two episodes in, the feedback has been most positive. In it, our Head of Editorial, Chris Pollitt, and professor of all things powered by petroleum, Richard Brunning (Project Binky, Bad Obsession Motorsport, etc) look back over the last month’s auction sales and pick five cars each to drool over with their words. Figuratively. There is no actual drooling. That’s a different website.

Have you watched it yet? If not, you should probably get on it, as the longer you wait, the more previous episodes you’re going to have to catch up on – we’re not stopping any time soon! There’s no hard selling, there is no ‘buy this car now’ urgency, instead it’s just two blokes talking about the cars that have given their respective boats a great deal of float. And it’s a cracking mix of stuff, too. From scale Lotus racers through to rip-snorting modified JDM legends, this series has it all, and with much more to come.

Of course, the bedrock here is that we want to shout about Car & Classic’s hugely popular auction platform, but more than that, these cars deserve to be in conversation. We don’t just sell cars here, we facilitate dreams, we make motoring icons a reality, and these cars – carefully chosen by our hosts, are proof of that. There is so much exciting, interesting, fun metal out there. We just wanted to talk about it. We wanted to enthuse you, to excite you and to remind you that being a classic car enthusiast is the greatest thing in the world!
