The Appeal

A lesser-known rakish AC saloon of the early post-war years, the AC 2-Litre is something of a hidden gem, undiscovered by most save a small community of discerning enthusiasts. Powered by a very capable triple-carb straight-six engine and boasting svelte aluminium bodywork formed over a timber frame, the 2-Litre was the preserve of wealthy motorists who valued performance and luxury in equal measure.

This particular example has been meticulously maintained following a comprehensive restoration carried out between 1982 and 1986. It's not just a showpiece, though. This car has been regularly used and well-travelled, attending AC meetings across Europe, Ireland, and the UK. With a complete engine rebuild in 2019 and a retrim in 2020, this AC 2 Litre Saloon is ready for its next adventure.
