The Attractions
Powered by the smallest V4 engine ever fitted to a production car up to that time, the Lancia Ardea was a technological masterpiece that was extremely advanced for its time, and even featured a five-speed gearbox! This Fourth Series example also featured a redesigned aluminium cylinder head that gave the later Ardeas an output of around 30 horsepower (a truly remarkable value for the time). Often used as taxis at the time, many were used heavily, making this example one of the rare survivors.
Restored to a very high standard and diligently maintained, this example appears to be one of the best in existence and is therefore a must-have for classic Lancia collectors. Boasting the coveted ASI Targa Oro, it is truly a special and fascinating little car.
