The Appeal
The Morris Minor 1000 is a quintessentially British car. Often credited with getting post-war Britain onto the road, this little motor captured the gentle public with its charming character and simple, reliable engineering. This 1965 2-door saloon in grey represents the later evolution of the model, benefiting from the more powerful 1,000cc engine in order to take on the emerging highway network.
This particular example has been well cared for since its purchase in November 2022, with the current owners investing over £1,000 to ensure it's both roadworthy and enjoyable to drive. It's been professionally maintained by Mere Garage with annual check-ups and comes with a complete history file containing all receipts since the current ownership began. While it retains its classic character and idiosyncrasies, it has become a cherished family member - and now seeks a new family to make it their own.

✓ We also check whether vehicles are recorded as being written off as part of an insurance total loss claim at the time an advert is placed on Car & Classic and we helpfully provide write-off category labels (Cat C/D/S/N) for your assistance. However, the presence or absence of a label does not guarantee the vehicle’s status and it is always worthwhile carrying out your own full vehicle history check before making an offer on a vehicle.
