Fiat, Alfa Romeo and Lancia made some of the best cars to drive in the 1950s, '60s and '70s, offering lively four-cylinder engines and magnificent styling by leading Italian designers. The Lancia Fulvia Coupé is a perfect example of the sophisticated technology developed for Italian sports cars at its peak. It used front-wheel drive with great success in rallies and its compact V4 engine offered remarkable performance for its modest size.
This 1967 example is a desirable Coupé Serie I that predates Fiat's acquisition of the marque. The seller reports that it is a pleasure to drive, with fantastic handling that reflects the model's rally car nature.
It has been well maintained and carefully updated and is now fitted with a 1,298 cc V4 engine from a later Fulvia, which replaced its original 1,216 cc engine in 2020. Mechanics aside, this car is in splendid condition, with an elegant 'Blu Scuro' finish and cream leatherette interior.
For anyone looking for a well-tuned and usable example, there is no need to look any further.

The Mechanics
