The Attractions
Featuring elegant lines by a Ferrari designer and powered by the classic Fiat twin-shaft Lampredi engine, the 124 Sport Coupé is an affordable four-seater sports car with impeccable pedigree.
They were very popular cars at the time and are always sought after by collectors. Exemplars in good condition are rare, and here is one of them. With only four owners from new and still in superb condition after being restored a few years ago, it is a very original and beautifully presented example of the 'BC' model with Fiat Dino-style styling.
The car will be sold with a new overhaul carried out by the seller. He is only selling this much-loved classic due to lack of space. This is an excellent opportunity to purchase an attractive and very usable sports car.
History and Documentation
- First registered on 30 May 1972
- Chassis number 124BC0200666
- Engine number 124AC4244180 identifying it as a 1,438 cc model
- Purchased in Milan
- The first owner sold it to his neighbour who had begged him to sell it to him on 2 November 1979
- It was later sold to a new owner in Sicily on 25 November 1997
- This owner renewed the paintwork and obtained the ASI certificate in 1999
- The car comes with this ASI certificate and corresponding plate
- Overhauled as indicated below between 1999 and 2021
- For various extended periods, the car has remained unused
- Last overhauled on 2 April 2021 at 93,643 km, now expired
- The car will be sold with a new Revision carried out by the seller
- Old photographs of the car showing the same colour
- Owner's manual and service booklet in good condition
- The seller bought the car on 1 December 2022 to add it to his collection

- Beautiful 'ice cream' green paintwork refreshed in 1999 and apparently conforming to factory specifications
- The paintwork is in excellent condition, with a good quality finish and no visible deterioration
- Bodywork is in similar condition, with good panel alignment and finish and no visible corrosion
- Original chrome plating in good condition with only a few slight imperfections highlighted in the photos
- Bottoms show no problems and are well maintained with fresh rust protection
- Door bottoms, boot floor and wheel arches solid and without corrosion
- Fitted with optional well-maintained Cromodora rims with chrome hubcaps
- Very original interior with dark green vinyl and velour upholstery
- Seats are very well maintained with no obvious fading and only slight signs of wear on the driver's seat
- Green door panels in excellent condition with complete and well-maintained trim
- Carpets are original and show fading due to the sun, but are nevertheless well maintained
- Protective rubber mats fitted at front and rear
- Headliner in good condition with no visible damage, marks or sagging
- Sun visors are still in their protective plastic covers
- Dashboard, buttons and controls in very good condition without cracks, fading or damage
- Veglia instrumentation in good condition
- Standard two-spoke wooden steering wheel
- Scissor jack and warning triangle included
