The Appeal

Win on Sunday, sell on Monday In 1972 Lancia made the link between its light and agile Fulvia road car and the cars that won rallies even more obvious with the evocatively named 'Monte Carlo' version.
Based on the car with its 1.3 90 hp engine, the Monte Carlo imitated the styling of the 'Fanalone' No. 14 HF driven by Sandro Munari and Mario Mannucci. It lacked bumpers, had wider wheel arches and a matt black bonnet and boot, but these were all aesthetic elements: buyers knew that the production car was as light, agile and manoeuvrable as the rally car.
This Monte Carlo is one of the earliest examples and a beautiful example of these unforgettable cars. It is in excellent condition thanks to a high-quality restoration received 10 years ago. Since then it has spent most of its life in a collection of classic cars.
The restoration faithfully replicated the features of the Monte Carlo version, so you will find accurate details such as reupholstered sports seats with rubber headrests.

It has beautiful Cromodora wheels, but the original wheels are included.
Only the Munari steering wheel is different from the one originally used.
The car is offered for sale with overhauled mechanics, including recent maintenance to the carburettor and engine and new engine mounts.
This is an excellent example of one of the most desirable Fulvia variants. Not to be missed.
