The Appeal

The Volkswagen Type 181, also known as 'The Thing' or 'Kübelwagen', has gained a cult following over the years. Originally designed as a military vehicle, it quickly became popular as a leisure car, leading to the production of civilian versions.

This 1973 example is a European version, distinguished by its small rear lights. It's powered by a 1500cc 4-cylinder engine and a manual transmission, ready for its new owner to enjoy. The car's recently been resprayed, and, ultimately, makes for a very quirky, characterful classic that'll charm any enthusiast.
