Restored and tastefully modified between 2019 and 2022
Now powered by a 1915 cc flat-four producing an apparent 120 horsepower
Beautifully presented and ready to enjoy
The Appeal
Ever since the first Beetles left the production line, professional and amateur engineers have been lavishing them with modifications. Cosmetic alterations and mechanical improvements are all easily possible thanks to a thriving enthusiast scene and a huge array of parts suppliers.
This stylish 1974 1303 falls somewhere between standard and modified. Its largely factory-original bodywork hides an uprated 1914cc engine producing a whopping 120 horsepower! Acquired by the vendor in 2019, they soon set about a comprehensive restoration process which was completed in 2022.
Finished to a very high standard, this Beetle looks very purposeful on its wider anodised steel rims, a subtle hint to the performance and handling on offer. Restrained yet clearly capable, it is a practical classic whose keys give access to a superb owner network.
