The Attractions
Of the many European two-seater sports roadsters sent to America to win the love of US motorists, the Alfa Romeo Spider is certainly one of the most beautiful and evocative. It is no surprise, then, that, like Sophia Loren, it also became a movie star.
The Spider Veloce added a 2-litre engine with 130 hp, and American cars also received fuel injection. Cars built from 1975 onwards can be identified by the small rear seats.
This charming white Injection Spider Veloce arrived in Italy from California in 2019, imported by its private seller.
It was subsequently carefully restored, preserving the originality but improving the aesthetics.
The work included a new beige canvas roof, reupholstered interior and a new paint job. The result is a pleasing combination of good looks and character.
This is an excellent opportunity to purchase a well-maintained, low-mileage Duetto ready for Italian registration.
