The Appeal

In a contest for the most legendary vehicle of all time, the T2 camper van is sitting pretty high up there. These bread-shaped campers have become synonymous with the 60s and 70s. Their surprisingly roomy cabins and endearing character made them particularly perfect for trips to music festivals and ideal for a surfer's trips to the beach. Little wonder then that they've become intrinsically linked with free-spirited on-the-move living.

This particular example of the T2 camper has been carefully restored, with the paintwork returned to its original VW colours and a nearly new interior. The Evo Designs kitchen is loaded with creature comforts and the van carries the later, highly desirable 2L 'Pancake' engine. If you can see yourself at the campgrounds living a retro lifestyle, you may well have found yourself the perfect camper.
