Introduced in the late 1970s, the BMW R45 was effectively a lighter and more compact version of BMW's larger motorbikes, using the flat-twin engines and driveshaft transmission that earned BMW motorbikes their excellent reputation.
This 1985 example is extremely original, and even retains its period accessories, such as BMW-branded side bags. The seller assures us that it has never been repainted and has always been garage stored.
With only two previous owners, it has been well cared for and loved, and is also registered with the Automotoculb Storico Italiano (ASI).
