A real passion pick
The Citroën 2CV6 Charleston is surely the most famous of the special runs of the legendary 2CV. Launched in 1980 at first as a limited series, it proved so popular that it was quickly folded into the permanent range. Its two-tone paint inspired by the 1930s, chrome headlamps and distinctive upholstery give it a unique personality—while still keeping the qualities that made the 2CV famous: an air-cooled flat twin-cylinder engine of 602 cm³, an all-fabric hood and a suspension setup offering an inimitable on-the-road comfort.
This 1986 example wears the combination of Delage red and black—the most iconic Charleston colour scheme. Having remained in the same family since 2008, the vendor says it has been regularly used and carefully maintained. They note that the bodywork looks good for its age and that the paintwork is in a satisfactory condition. A few points are nonetheless flagged, including a slight amount of play in the steering and alignment to be corrected. Overall, this 2CV Charleston is a great opportunity to acquire one of the most desirable versions of the model. 20260416_152729 HUGUET.jpg1.19 MB
