For enthusiasts of rare Americana automotives, here is a rare treat. Conceived as a sleek coupe combining classic elements from Detroit’s playlist, just 170 Zimmer Quicksilvers left the factory.
Each one was based on Pontiac Fiero running gear with well detailed fibreglass bodywork designed by a former General Motors supremo.
It was built for just two years, which makes this 1988 example one of the last built. It is believed to have been once owned by Paul Zimmer himself in California.
Well maintained, including a recent respray in the EU plus re-chromed bumpers, it is in good order with a well kept interior. Combining stand-out styling with proven Pontiac mechanicals, this is a fantastic opportunity to acquire one of the most unusual classics currently on the market.
