The Attractions
The Peugeot 305 mid-size saloon was introduced in 1977 to replace the popular but now rather outdated 404, which went into production in 1960. As was usual for French car manufacturers at the time, Peugeot also offered station wagon body styles and van variants, like this example from 1980.
The seller informs us that this 305 Break was originally a Peugeot service vehicle, so it has been carefully maintained since new. Recently, in November 2023, the engine received a complete overhaul and is still being run in. Today there are very few 305 Breaks left, especially in van version, and this is a very well preserved example.
Collectors of French cars will certainly find it very interesting. Its MOT is valid until April 2026, so it is ready to be used.
