The Appeal

Produced during a period when Stuttgart was struggling to make ends meet, the Porsche 968 was initially conceived as an evolution of the 944, which had never managed to pick up the sales that they hoped for. However, during production, the car began to change - and that much-prized Porsche formula took hold. What began as a low-powered, affordable entry-level car evolved into a comfortable, speedy GT that held its own impressively against the market's standards.

The last front-engined car that Porsche would bring in until their Cayenne SUV in 2003, the result is a very capable vehicle from a particularly fascinating period in the company's history - a car that's eminently more than the sum of its parts.

This specific vehicle was imported from the USA and has recently had maintenance performed by a renowned Porsche specialist. It's in highly original order, and will no doubt provide an authentic and particularly fun experience behind the wheel for the lucky buyer.
