The Appeal
With its thumping V8, revised interior and updated styling, the X308 XJ8 is a very Jaguar sort of Jaguar and naturally highly rated by enthusiasts. For many it is the last of the ‘classic’ XJ saloons, the final flourish for a model that began life in the 1980s.
Its underpinnings lasted so long because they are so good. A well kept XJ8 has a ride and serenity quite unlike other saloons. To properly indulge these qualities you need a car like this one, a LWB X308 with top Sovereign specification. It is effectively a limousine for regular people.
