The Attractions
The X308 represented the last opportunity to enjoy the classic styling of Jaguar's XJ saloons. It used the basic architecture of the XJ40 and combined it with Jaguar's new V8 engine and the luxurious interior originally intended for the X300.
All this makes these cars particularly attractive to enthusiasts. They have sumptuous trim and equipment, and the V8 engines offer great power without the slightest effort. The 3.2-litre engine is particularly smooth in response and more economical than the larger displacement versions.
In the possession of its experienced and passionate seller since 2017, this 1998 XJ8 3.2 Executive has an attractive colour scheme and comes with full documentation of maintenance received over the years. We are advised that it is eligible for reduced insurance and road tax in Italy. Whether used as a relaxing everyday car or reserved for weekend enjoyment, this is a very solid example of the last of Jaguar's classic V8 saloons.
