ATTRACTIONS

Since its introduction in 1963, the Porsche 911 has continually evolved, establishing itself as one of the greatest protagonists in automotive history and becoming synonymous with high-quality, high-performance sports cars. Iconic, fast, fun and reliable, the 911 is among the most sought-after sports cars by enthusiasts and collectors worldwide.

Introduced in 1997, the 996 opened up new horizons for the 911: after 35 years of using the legendary air-cooled engines, they were replaced by new water-cooled engines that were much more efficient and had an unmistakable sound. Improvements to the suspension also made it more agile, precise and faster than any previous 911.

The restyled model, produced from 2002, offered a new 3.6-litre engine with power increased to 320 hp. Aesthetically, the main change was the new, more pleasing front headlights, now completely transparent. The front and rear bumpers were also completely modified, giving the car a more aggressive and assertive look. The interior was updated, using higher quality materials and a more pleasing appearance.

This 2002 restyled 911 996 is the rarest Targa model, equipped with the beautiful transparent sliding roof that allows you to enjoy open-air driving in seconds and in maximum comfort.
Excellently equipped and lovingly maintained by its two previous owners, who entrusted it to the care of official Porsche workshops and mechanics specialised in these cars, it has a particularly low mileage, which the seller assures us is correct.

Originally sold in Germany, this Porsche accompanied its current owner on his move to Italy and still has German plates and documents. Capable of offering an exciting drive similar to that of previous models, but much more modern, usable and comfortable, the 996 is now an increasingly popular modern classic and its prices are steadily rising, especially for rarer versions such as this Targa.

Very well-presented, properly maintained and well-equipped, this 996 Targa represents a truly attractive opportunity for the most knowledgeable Porsche enthusiast.
