The Appeal
For five generations, Ford’s Mustang offered buyers brutal power but simple, unsophisticated handling. That all changed with the sixth version.
The GT added all-round independent suspension to a mix that included the scintillating 400+bhp Coyote V8. The result was a car that reinvigorated the brand. Reviewers raved about it and buyers lapped it up. Here was a Mustang that was as good on the corners as it was on the straights.
Those qualities helped the Mustang find buyers in Europe as well as America. This is one of those EU cars, a 2019 convertible with the Coyote engine.
