This Mg was registered on 2nd February 1968 and supplied by J Cockshoot & Co Ltd in Manchester. The heritage certificate details that it left the factory in british racing green with fitted heater, wire wheels, oil cooler and anti roll bar. . The car was subject to a full restoration in the mid 90s all of which is documented in the file. At this stage its colour was changed to the tartan red it shows today. Many new panels were fitted and then a bare metal respray. The bodywork is still in stunning order, a real testament to the quality of work. The interior was fully retrimmed at the same time. The history file contains as previously mentioned extensive bills for restoration and maintenance mostly carried out by Colne Classics. The british motor heritage certificate, old registration documents and mots. A fully reconditioned ivor Searle unleaded specification engine has just been fitted.
