Here we offer the sister car to the now legendary 1. 9 205 Gti "Hot Hatch". I mention this although the 309 is rarer , arguably better handling and more spacious but has slipped under the radar primarily as there are so few examples left , let alone in this museum quality condition!!
Our car has been in the custody of a mere two previous long term registered owners, 1989-2009 and then 2009 to date. Both have cherished this car and the service history (32 stamps in the original book!!) is testament to this with a host of paperwork to accompany the service books.
The car has had a recent full service by highly regarded classic car service specialists, to include cam belt and water pump on time not mileage , invoice on file.
This premier example of what could be termed as the "Holy Grail" of 1. 9's; ..... Sunroof delete, three door and Power Steering in period colour and original radio and cigarette lighter!. The underside has been sympathetically undersealed to preserve the shell from the dreaded. The car retains original stamped panels , wings see photos.
This is a full house and almost certainly the best x3 door example available anywhere for a fabulous driving proper four seater 1980's , rarely seen classic.( believed a lot less than 100 left here) comes with spare wheel , jack and full book pack. Pls note Private plate not included ....
