The Appeal
In the celebrated history of Fast Fords, the ST220 is absolutely right up there. Dropping the 24V 226bhp Duratec V6 under the Mk3’s bonnet created arguably the best fast Mondy and a proper blue-collar response to all those BMWs, Audis and Mercedes.
There wouldn’t be another fast Ford saloon like it, and maybe there never will. So lets celebrate the ST220 with this great early example. Finished in classic dark blue metallic with grey leather, it is pleasingly factory standard and has clearly been cherished - alongside the good history file, you’ll find quality rubber on each corner and an appropriate private cherished plate on the front and back.
The car was serviced in March and comes to market with MOT to July 2025. The ST220 feels like a nailed-on future classic. In the meantime, while you wait for that, you can use and enjoy one of the best-handling sports saloons of the last 25 years.
