The Appeal
The idea of a garage find is a tantalising one for any enthusiast. The ability to bring a sleeping giant back to life is surely the dream of any tinkerer or budding mechanic, and if you were to choose a classic to work with, surely a Capri would be high up on the list. Rewarding, iconic and still highly aspirational, the Capri is simply one of the most iconic cars ever released in Europe - a flashy fastback that evoked the Mustang for those across the pond from Detroit.
Now get that fastback in the desirable GT trim, with the Rallye pack - and you've got a real, prime, hot-blooded classic - ready and waiting for its return to the road. It's been slumbering since 1985, kept in high original period order, and now offers a simply fantastic opportunity.
Owned by the same family for nearly forty years, the car boasts an impressive stock of 80s paperwork and really is a fantastic opportunity for restoration. image.png3.29 MB
