The history of the air-cooled 911 is full of iconic models, but the introduction of the SC 3.0L in 1977 remains one of the highlights. These cars benefited from a strengthened and lightened flat-six engine from the 930, increased power, and wider curves that reinforced their aggressive looks. No wonder these models are among the most coveted of the air-cooled era.

This magnificent SC Targa in Continental Orange is one of the most beautiful we've seen in a long time. Thanks to an extensive restoration programme over recent years, it benefits from a high quality paint job, a reworked interior in period houndstooth fabric and a complete engine and gearbox rebuild carried out less than 10,000km ago.

The result is a car in excellent condition. Add to that only three successive owners, a roadworthiness test valid until November 2026 and a comprehensive service history, and you have an exceptional example of one of the finest 911s ever built.
