Belonging to one of our longest standing customers, who owned this hot hatch for some 20 years but spending nearly the last 15 years off the road in a heated garage this car has lead a much closeted life. If his own daily family car hadn’t needed replacing quickly, and an ongoing building project, I really don’t think we would get our hands on this one !
The gleaming Schwarz Black paintwork is very presentable indeed and this car also benefits from the later 90 spec interior. We have had the ‘Dogleg’ alloys powder coated and wrapped them in brand new ‘Firestone tyres’.
We have treated the car to a full engine service including oil and oil filter, spark plugs and ignition leads, air filter, new exhaust system and all importantly after being sat for so long a new cam belt kit. The result now is a lovely sounding car that is absolutely on the button. The car runs and drives very well indeed and stops as it should now due to new brakes all round. A fresh 12 months MOT will be put on the car upon purchase.
