"In 1978, Renault presented the 4 GTL with the 1108 cc engine, much more economical and powerful. Also appear, the plastic protections on the side and in 1983 the new dashboard. It is in 1984, that appears what will be the last version of the Renault 4, the Clan, with its characteristic upholstery. From 1989, the Clans have two rear-view mirrors and the rear central lights for reversing. The production of the Ranault 4 ends in 1992, which makes this Clan presented here, to be one of the last produced"
