This fine Rover P4 was supplied new in 1964 by Charles Hull Ltd of Solihull and has covered 55, 000 since with only a few owners, the first of whom kept it until 1992. The car has not been restored, just well maintained and fettled during its life and remains in lovely order throughout. There is a history back to new along with many MOT certificates starting from 1969.
Stan Johnstone, well known P4 guru and Club specialist, overhauled the cylinder head three thousand miles ago and the 2. 6 litre, six cylinder engine is smooth and powerful. There are disc brakes to the front and this car is a delight to pilot.
There is a large history file with invoices, hand written notes and some wonderful photographs going back to 1964. The Rover has won some awards at the National Rally and the plaques for these are included. The original toolkit is complete.
