Originally delivered in Japan, this Mercedes 450 SL was imported to Belgium in 2017. The Cabriolet is equipped with the powerful 4520 cm3 V8 engine with automatic gearbox. Its stylish body is painted in a beautiful metallic dark green combined with a black soft top (recently replaced) or a hardtop in the same colour as the body.
Note that the hard-top was a rare option at the time because it was quite expensive (>10% of the price of the car).
Inside, the seats are trimmed partly in olive leather and “Vichy” fabric, which accentuates the vintage look of the car. The roadster looks good aesthetically. Although the current owner has only driven 2. 000 Kms with it during the last 5 years, the 450 SL has been well maintained and has been serviced in May 2022. In total, the counter shows a mileage of 161. 000 Kms.
All in all, we believe this is a great opportunity to acquire a mythical roadster of the German brand, in a beautiful combination of colors and in working order, registered as an oldtimer in Belgium which can be used all year long thanks to its hardtop.
