These very early Series 2 109's do not turn up very often
Chassis number the details below was despatched into build on 21st July 1958 and despatched out on 24th July to Murkett Bros Ltd of Bedford.
Original chassis plate in place.
The chassis number makes it a Home Market RHD 2. 25 petrol and it was finished in mid grey.
Originally registered as SVE 128 in Cambridgeshire it became CSJ 426 in 1997.

Tax and MOT exempt.
Restored in 1997-1998 to look like an army vehicle it then found a new owner who used it for a short while before taking it off the road.
Only 6 owners the last for 25 years!
Unused for many years it luckily retains many early features incl the orginal engine and gearbox and many other 1958 features that are not found on later cars.
One piece floor, galvanised front apron, Series 1 warning lights, original single wiper motor with blanking piece on the passenger side.
The bodywork is very straight.
The bulkhead is good and solid
The chassis will need some welding but is not too bad.
The engine turns over and will run.
It will of course need a full recommissioning of all the braking systems and clutch system and cannot be driven at present!
This is a superb and rare restoration project.
Only 360 1958 Home Market 109's were made and only 8 are known about at the present time!
