The car on offer here has been sourced straight from its home market of Italy! Chassis no. 172297 is an original Italian car from new, being first delivered on the 1st of October 1999 by supplying dealer C. A. R. I. M. A of Biella in the very north of Italy near the Italian Alps. She is specified in classic Mulberry Red (believed to be specific to the 40th edition only) over a Bordeaux full leather upholstery with off-white piping and an "engine turned" aluminium dashboard.
Today this Mini presents in stunning condition throughout, with no traces of any rust whatsoever thanks to the Italian climate. Technically she is very sound as well, with all electrics and ancillaries working perfectly - even the original Mini radio is still in place and functioning! The Bordeaux full leather interior is original and un-touched and shows only minor signs of use. Technically, the engine pulls very well and the synchromeshes in the gearbox are in great order too (always a typical Mini gremlin). The Mini is complete with all booklets (user & service manual) and comes with two complete sets of keys. This example presents a great opportunity for someone to buy a really great and limited-run Classic Mini at an interesting price in the market.
