1968 Ford Mustang GT Fastback – Rare Authentic Classic
This rare 1968 Mustang GT Fastback in Raven Black with Blue Decor Bucket Seats is a true collectors gem. Equipped with the GT Equipment Group, louvered hood, sport deck folding rear seats, centre console, power disc brakes and steering, Interior Decor Group trim with wooden inserts, tinted glass, and the rare tilt away steering column.
Restored with modern drivability in mind, it features a date correct 390 cubic inch 6. 3 litre V8, 5 speed TKX gearbox, hydraulic clutch, POR treated fuel tank, and Comp Cams camshaft for improved performance and throttle response.
Factory GT Fastbacks are extremely rare. Of 317404 Mustangs produced in 1968, only 42581 were Fastbacks, 12087 had the GT Equipment Group, 1516 wore this paint code, and only 6 combined it with blue interior trim. This car is one of those 6 and may be the only one remaining. Built in Philadelphia and imported to the UK in 2015, it comes with a full Marti Report, provenance, build sheets, and bill of sale.
