The late, phase II- BJ8 ‘one to have’ and a wonderful example too having arrived from sunny American climes to the UK 36 years ago when the pick of the best was still out there for hungry British buyers to choose from. Following the straightforward left to right-hand drive conversion, an incredibly detailed refurbishment was carried out by the owner who would retain it for 33 years until his passing in 2022. Finished in Colorado Red over Jet Black with matching colours inside, this is smartly punctuated by the deeply shining walnut burl wood dashboard fascia which characterises the late, most refined big Healey. Within the past year £5, 300 has been invested with a renowned Healey specialist, plus a further £2, 050 on sensible modifications. The car has desirable options such as overdrive, chrome wire wheels, heater, and adjustable steering column. Based on the standard upheld, this car is priced attractively.
