If you were young in the 90s, you undoubtedly also cast long glances at a Golf with the characteristic VR6 emblem in the radiator grille, then you knew well that this was a special Golf III, which was the icing on the cake
The press wrote: VW hit the spot when they developed the compact six-cylinder VR6 engine, and it was quickly put in a number of the group's cars. With that engine, the somewhat anonymous family car transforms into a completely different vehicle, which may even be the best Golf variant ever.
Many of the cars lived a hard life, especially when they got a little km. on the back, and they became an obvious tuning and styling project, at the same time rust had a bit of a hard time taking hold in our climate - which means that a fine example today is hard to find.
But HERE it is - the car you dreamed of 30 years ago, which is a real time capsule, and which has ONLY driven 80, 000 km and has been registered to Bernhard Luks (born 1932) from Switzerland, and there is no doubt that it has had a good home and has always been garaged, as both the paint and interior appear incredibly beautiful and well-maintained.
There is of course a well-documented service book for the car as well as the original purchase agreement from Volkswagen in Zurich, which shows that it was purchased with an automatic transmission, electric sunroof and alloy wheels
The car appears in the beautiful Brillantschwartz metal with fabric upholstery and was from the time when VW did not mess with the equipment so besides central locking and electric windows and mirrors, the rest is manual - but what else do you really need when you drive a VR6.
