LAND ROVER 88" 4 CYLINDER PETROL. 1978 S REGISTRATION.
The first lady purchased the Land Rover brand new from Polegate Motor Company of Sussex 21/ 03/ 1978 with original bill of sale & owned it until 1992 when it was passed to her sister who dry stored it until recently & only took it out occasionally in the summer. We have service invoices, previous mots etc. Current mot until July 2018.
It is mainly original & has recently been fully serviced to include new Brakes, Fuel pump, Fuel tank, Exhaust, under body & Chassis steam clean & underseal treatment.
The bodywork & interior is exceptionally good & has extra side facing seats fitted to the rear. It has a remote brake servo fitted & Fairey free wheeling hubs. The underside & chassis is very good having recently had new outriggers fitted. It drives really well , as an old Land rover should & even ha a good heater!
This is an exceptionally original example rarely found at this vintage!
