A first class MG TD, first registered on 1st January 1953. The car was the subject of a full restoration a few years ago and is in splendid condition, very well finished in the best colour, with a lovely biscuit-coloured interior. The bodywork including frame and panel fit etc, is excellent as are the mechanics, and the underside is very clean. The chromework is extremely good and the five matching Dunlop tyres and wheels are pretty much like new. Very good hood, side screens, hood cover and tonneau. The car starts very easily and gives really good performance with no clunks or whines from the transmission. Gold Seal engine which sounds lovely and gives good oil pressure with no overheating. In fact, this is one of the nicest TDs I have driven. A regular entrant in rallies, runs and shows, it has always proved to be very reliable. We don't think you will find a better one for the price - a really straightforward TD in standard spec, offering a great drive. V5C.
