1934 MG PA Midget
The replacement for the highly successful J2 model came in the form of the much improved ‘P’ Type in 1934. New features included a stronger crankshaft - now with three bearings, whilst the chassis was strengthened and the cockpit was slightly roomier.
The example presented here is a very early model, (chassis no. 0261) having been first registered on 2nd March 1934. It was in the hands of a previous lady owner for over 40 years.
Clearly restored some years ago, this MG is of smart appearance and is in very good health mechanically, with the engine pulls willingly and having excellent oil pressure.
With excellent spare parts availability and being suitable for numerous events with great club support, a ‘MMM’ MG is a most rewarding motor car to own.
There is a hood frame, but currently no hood is fitted, however there is a good tonneau cover. An opportunity to acquire a modestly priced PA Midget in sound order and ready to go, it is supplied with a buff RF60 logbook and a number of previous MOT certificates.
