Sunbeam Alpine series V 1725 manual overdrive, finished in Carnival Red with Black trim. A matching numbers car that was first registered January 1967 in the area of Surrey. A lovely example that over recent years has been treated to an extensive body restoration, which included new sills, rear arches, door bottoms, front wing nose sections, lower wing sections and bare metal respray. Mechanically the engine has been rebuilt and converted to unleaded, along with a gearbox inspection and new clutch. The braking system has been overhauled with new brake pipes, wheel cylinders and brake callipers and new tyres fitted all round. The ignition has been updated with an electronic system and the starter and alternator have both been replaced. The chrome has either been replaced with new or re-chromed as necessary. The interior has had new seats, carpets, dash roll top and walnut dashboard which is complimented by a wood rim Motolita steering wheel. The soft top is in excellent condition. Fitted to the car is a full stainless steel exhaust system. The mechanical work was undertaken by a retired motor engineer. Paint and body panels where done by a professional paint shop to a high standard.
The car comes with a huge history file, which includes hand written letters, invoices and MOT certificates dating back to 1973.
